Amritsari fish is a popular Indian street food and restaurant style fish appetizer. It is a simple dish yet tastes amazing with bursting flavors that comes from the unique combo of spices and herbs used. As the name says this appetizer is popular in the streets of Amritsar.

#. Hello everyone, aaj hum banayenge Amritsari fish fry.
#. Which is one of my favorite.
#. Very easy to make, bohot hi simple hai.
#. We don't need to make any liquid batter, hume bas coat karna hai with some ingredients.
#. Here we have boneless fish. Mene fish ko chote size me cut kar liya hai.
#. Sabse pehle fish me dalenge ek generous sprinkle of salt.
#. Zara si heeng, heeng se fish ki strong smell nikal jayegi.
#. Thodi si Ajwain(carom seeds).
#. Thoda sa lemon juice.
#. Now we will add some Ginger garlic paste in it.
#. Ab isey ache se mila lenge.
#. Time to add some more ingredients.
#. Small amount of turmeric powder.
#. Some red chilli powder.
#. Thoda besan.
#. Some white flour (maida)
#. Some corn flour for crispness.
#. Again some salt for outer coating.
#. Mix all together and keep it for rest for atleast 30 minutes.
#. Now its time to deep fry the fish.
#. Here we are using prestige Durastone hard anodised nonstick pan for deep frying.
#. Now add some oil for deep frying. We will heat the oil well.
#. Ab hum fish ko garam tel me dalenge.
#. Hum is fish ko 2 times fry karenge.
#. Pehli baar me fish andar se ache se cook ho jayegi.
#. So we will place the flame level in between low to medium.
#. Thodi der fry hone k baad fish ko nikal lenge.
#. Then after 1 minute, we will place the flame to high and fry the fish second time.
#. Dusri baar me fish bahar se ekdum crispy ho jayegi aur andar se juicy & soft.
#. Thoda Golden brown hone ke baad fish ko nikal lenge.
#. Now we will sprinkle some chaat masala & it is ready to serve.
