A delicate , creamy , extremely tasty and easy dessert made from custard powder and bread .It's eggless

To a pan add 1/4 cup sugar. Keep the flame on low to medium flame. stir in between until sugar melts completely
Continue to heat on low to medium flame until the sugar melts completely and turns golden brown. ie sugar gets caramelized.
Pour the caramelized sugar into a small bowl and swirl quickly so that the caramelised sugar is well coated around the bowl. keep aside.
Next take bread slices , discard the edges.
In a mixer , pulse the bread slices . Keep it aside.
To a mixing bowl add milk , custard powder and 1/4 cup sugar . Mix well .
Transfer the milk and custard mix to a pan . Keep the flame on low medium flame and cook the mixture . Mix such that there are no lumps.
When the milk has thickened a bit , add bread crumbs.
continue to cook until the mixture turns creamy and thick
pour the mixture into the bowl of caramelised sugar. Spread uniformly. Gently tap the bowl .
Cover the bowl with an Aluminium foil ,
Place the bowl ,in the prestige IOT Smart cooker and steam cook for 25 mins.
Once cooked , take out the bowl from the IOT Smart Cooker , allow to cool and place it in a refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Let the pudding set nicely . Later , unmould the caramel bread pudding .
Slice and enjoy the caramel bread pudding
