Dalia Khichdi is a comfort food, nutritious and delicious which can be prepared in a jiffy. It can be made with any vegetables of your choice, seasonal vegetables make this khichdi tastier. Low in calories, it’s a good meal for weight-watchers too.

Switch on the Prestige Delight Smart Electric Rice Cooker, and heat oil, temper with cumin seeds.

Add washed dalia and moong dal, mix well.

Add vegetables, green chillies, tomato, ginger paste, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder mix well.

Add water, mix well, cover and cook till the vegetables are done, and the dalia softens.

You can cook the Khichdi manually, by stirring in-between till the dalia is done.

Or, set a timer through Prestige smart app, and operate the cooker from the app at your convenience.

Open the lid after the Khichdi is cooked through, add garam masala powder and ghee, mix gently.
