A tea-time, orange-flavored, fry fruit cake is a timeless classic cake that is loved by everyone. Make it by following this easy recipe, and enjoy it with your family

Prepare a 6" round cake pan by greasing it with oil and place of baking paper at the bottom of the pan

In a bowl, sift all-purpose flour and salt, and keep it aside

In a separate bowl mix curd, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and oil. Whisk well and add the wet mixture to the dry mixture

Now whisk well to form a lump-free batter

Mix in the orange zest, and dry fruits

Pour this batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle some dry fruits on the top. Tap the cake pan gently a couple of times to release the air bubbles

Prepare the prestige saucepan for an induction top baking by adding a layer of salt and placing a metal stand over it.

Set the time for 10 minutes on the prestige Induction top to preheat the saucepan

Now place the cake pan carefully inside the preheated saucepan, and cover to bake the cake for 30 minutes

Insert a wooden skewer in the middle of the cake, the cake is ready if the skewer comes out clean. if not, bake it some more time, and then check again

When done, take out the cake pan from the saucepan. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes and then run a sharp knife around the edges of the pan and carefully remove the cake. Turn onto a cooling rack and leave there until completely cooled.

When cooled, slice, serve and enjoy!
