Made with seasonal vegetables and traditional spices, this tawa special dish is a vegetarian's delight. Pair this sabzi with Indian bread to experience the maximum flavors of the dish.
Heat vegetable oil in the tawa, and temper with cumin seeds
Add the sliced onions, and saute until light brown in color
Next, add the ginger-garlic paste, and saute for a few seconds
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri mirch powder, salt, and tomato puree. Mix well and cook for a minute over medium heat.
Add the vegetables, mix well and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, keep stirring in-between
Next, add the almond powder, and some water, mix well, and cook for a few minutes
Add the fresh cream, mix well, and cook for a few minutes
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and remove the tawa from the heat
Serve hot with chapati or naan.
